I only started building my newsletter list a year ago, I now have over 3k emails of like-minded individuals that are already interested in my work. Now I realise this number is smaller than my actual social media or actual following, yet there is nothing to worry about. You see, a newsletter list has 10 times higher conversion than any social media campaign out there. Not only that e-mails are personal & direct, your newsletter subscribers have already shown interest in receiving content to their inbox which means they’re more likely to actually buy from you. No matter what it is- affiliate links you’re monetizing your blog with or actual products- people in your list are your real potential clients.

WHERE TO BEGIN

You shouldn’t think this through. You must start your newsletter list immediately. The sooner you begin, the better. It’s also super easy & you don’t need to spend a single penny on this. Well, at least for now.

One of the most popular Newsletter building tools Mailchimp offers completely free services for up to 2000 subscribers which will have you covered or at least few months.

All you have to do is actually visit Mailchimp website and click on SIGN UP FREE button.

Insert your e-mail & create a password for your account. MailChimp will send you a link to confirm your e-mail to continue the registration. Check your e-mail & activate your MailChimp account.

Once you’re in, go ahead and click on the LISTS, it will take you to a new window where you’ll find a CREATE LIST button. Fill in your info and click SAVE.

Congratulations, you just started your first list!

WHAT TO DO NEXT?

Now it’s the time for your Newsletter list to start blossoming! While Blogger tools might be pretty limited, self-hosted WordPress actually offers various plugins for your Mailchimp forms to make the setup process way easier.
