In this visual era of the internet, your blog photography means more than ever. With a huge competition out there, most readers will leave your blog straight away if they don’t like the visual aesthetics of your blog. Uploading high-quality images can really help you attract attention to what you really want to say throughout your content.

Now you might be wondering- where do you begin? What equipment do you buy? Am I able to get a great camera on a budget?

Ok, ok, I get it! It’s not that easy! Let’s take a deep breath, we will cover it all in this post.

Do I really Need A Camera?

Well, that’s a difficult question to answer.

You see, you can probably get by with your iPhone for a while. However, you will always have to make sure you have the perfect light available and you still wouldn’t be able to expect the best quality.

Yes, if I don’t have my camera with me, I do use my iPhone 8+ quite a lot. However, even with its famous portrait mode, I can still see a huge difference compared to my DSLR.

I know cameras can be expensive, but they are so worth your investment! You will be using it A LOT ad if you’re on a budget, you can get a used camera or go for cheaper alternatives, I will talk about all of this below!

These days there are tones of awesome cameras to choose from, let me share some of my favourite ones with you all!

Canon 6d– so this is the camera I currently use and I absolutely love it, it also has a great price for a full-frame and paired with my 50mm 1.4 lens it takes it into the brilliant full-frame camera for bloggers. Full-frame DSLRs have long been the cameras of choice for photographers and professional bloggers in pursuit of optimum image quality. Here are a few you should definitely consider if you want to take your photography to the professional level.

Canon 5d Mark IV– this is the camera that captures the most award-winning photos year after year. There’s nothing that can really compare to this beauty and although it is on a pricey side, it’s so worth every penny.

Sony A7 represents an advanced class of camera. It was made to be the tool of choice for serious photographers and semi-professionals. You can get the best quality possible on a budget and it will take you at least a couple of years to exceed its capabilities!

Fujifilm X100F– if you’re looking for something smaller and cuter, look no further! Not only this beauty fits easily into your handbag, it also can take the most professional pictures!

Olympus PEN E-PL8– with this customer in mind, the E-PL8 has tried to bring together the best of both worlds, offering features that are useful no matter which way the camera is pointed. This is a perfect little camera to get and it’s been loved by bloggers for years now!
